About Fees
We discuss all fees with prospective clients. Most cases are primarily billed based on the time required to provide legal services. A flat fee may be warranted for certain work performed. Personal injury and other such cases may be handled on a contingency basis, and the fee for any legal services will then be based on a percentage of whatever recovery has been obtained. Certain real estate and/or business transaction fees will often be based upon the monetary amounts involved or the complexity of the transactions.
It is the policy of the firm to require a retainer or advanced payment when a case is accepted. If applicable, the policy will be explained at the time of acceptance. Free consultations are available by request.
